Welcome to North Fife!
Between Dundee north of the River Tay and the medieval University town of St Andrews - home of golf - lies a beautiful rural area with quiet minor roads, forest trails, a plentiful range of cafe stops and great views from the tops of hills across the rolling countryside, along the River Tay estuary and around the coast.
As well as being a lovely place to cycle in itself, North Fife connects to other nearby areas for touring such as the East Neuk fishing villages; the charming villages & small towns of central Fife; the 'Tay Loop' a 50 mile ride around the River Tay estuary from Dundee to Perth and Newburgh; along the waterfront of Dundee northwest into the Sidlaws and Perthshire or east into Angus and the coastal routes north.
Whether you are a visiting tourist staying for some day rides, passing through on a longer holiday, or live here and taking up cycling to explore your local area, the aim of this website is to help people enjoy safe cycling here.
Alongside the webpages here there is a Facebook page called 'Cycle North Fife' you can join.
And if you would like to receive a copy of the occasional e-newsletter that is sent out then click the button below.
Both the facebook page and newsletter carry different information to this website - often more topical news and not everything in those resources will find its way onto this website.
